Myth or Fact?

Climate change has become a political issue, which leads to inaccurate claims and misleading information as special interest groups seek to raise doubts about the need to act to address the issue. Misinformation abounds despite an extensive body of hard science based on research that is carefully developed, conducted, and independently reviewed. In this selection of art we explore a few of these DANGEROUSLY MISLEADING MYTHS about climate change, including: 

Global warming is due to natural causes, not human activities.

A renewable energy economy would be too expensive and result in too many lost jobs.

Climate scientists are alarmists and their past predictions have been inaccurate.

Governments have already agreed to take all necessary action to address the issue.

The technology already exists to remove carbon from the atmosphere so no need to reduce emissions.

There are no feasible paths to net zero emissions over the next several decades.
