Use the Art.
We invite you to create a collection of Environmental Graphiti® art that will bring beauty and important messaging to your organization, school, home or office.
Please contact us if you wish to exhibit, acquire, rent, license or produce Environmental Graphiti® art. Exhibition, production, copying or use is not allowed without permission.
Exhibit.
Environmental Graphiti® art has been widely exhibited in a variety of venues, including museums, universities, conferences and events, both within and outside of the US.
Acquire.
Dozens of universities, as well as science museums, hold collections of Environmental Graphiti® art. Schools, museums, governmental and non-profit organizations, as well as private individuals, can acquire the art at the artist’s out-of-pocket cost. The art can also be found in many homes and offices across the country.
Use the Art.
Since the Environmental Graphiti® project began in 2015 the uses for the art have ranged from customary print exhibits and cover art (see examples below) to custom greeting cards and jigsaw puzzles. We invite you to think of even more ways the art can enhance your space and further your mission.

-
The paintings create a vivid and dynamic exhibition. Each digital image is 300 dpi and can be reproduced in various sizes and formats - ask about custom sizes. Standard options: print on metal or canvas, or paper (mounted or unmounted).
-
If affordable, prints on light-weight aluminum are recommended for the most striking and dramatic results. Similar effects can be obtained from prints on high gloss artist paper (mounted on board) which cost about one-third of metal. Prints on canvas are also very attractive, are typically priced somewhat less than metal and tend to offer more sizing options for very large prints. Custom sizing is available, depending on the printer selected.
-
Though printing costs vary depending on choice of printer.
A standard size aluminum print (e.g., 30” x 30”) tends to cost around $300 mounted on an inset metal frame with a wire (ready to hang).
For a 40” x 30” size the cost would generally be around $375.
To estimate a print cost multiply the number of square inches (e.g., a 30” x 30” piece would be 900 square inches) by $3.10 for metal prints. (Roughly assume $2.35 for canvas (wrapped but unframed) and $1.35 for artist paper mounted on board.)
Many of the images require custom sizing, which most fine art printers offer at minimal upcharges. Actual printing costs will be more or less than these estimates.
Shipping costs vary among printers as well, and should be investigated before deciding on a printer.
XL prints may be possible, but will depend on the resolution of the particular image and the choice of printer.

Look for a fine art printer and, if you decide to print on metal, it is highly recommended that you select a printer that uses the Chromaluxe method. Check out the ChromaLuxe website to find a printer near you:
Encourage Climate Education & Literacy
Environmental Graphiti has collaborated with professional educators to create TOOLKITS for teachers to adapt the art for educational programs.
In collaboration with the team at the UCI-Science Project* we have created two Toolkits targeted for middle school through high school:
Enliven Data with Art and The Power of Digital Storytelling, each of which includes the related guide for teachers.
*The UCI-Science Project specializes in working with “… students, PK-12 teachers, and educational leaders to tackle 21st century issues using research-based approaches in science education. Our areas of expertise include specialized professional learning opportunities with your educators in collaboration with UCI faculty/staff and community partners, district partnerships for yearlong supports in identified areas of need, collaborative community outreach programs, and direct PK-12 student programming to bring science and engineering to our communities!”
Educators with the Oregon State University Smile Project** created a program and video that used the art for its network of participating schools.
**“(SMILE) is a precollege program at Oregon State University (OSU). Our SMILE Clubs are rural after-school programs that:
· Help historically underrepresented students, students who are from low income households, and those who would be the first in their families to go to college gain STEM skills
· Engages 4-12 grade students statewide in science, math and engineering year round
· Provides professional development to a community of teachers
Create Custom Art
It may also be possible to create custom art from your own climate science data.
If this is of interest, please get in touch to explore potential opportunities.
How to use the art.
Here are some ways the art can be used. Be creative - we’d love to collaborate with you on furthering our mission to dramatize key facts of climate change through art, and encourage widespread understanding of the science it represents.
